The whole point of leading a marketing services firm is to make a difference for clients: advance brands, engage customers and raise the value of companies. George has been doing all that and more for 40 years.
He founded Grey Direct in the Eighties and built it into a global direct response marketing agency network. In 2000, he was recruited to Silicon Valley as CEO of Responsys, a SAAS MarCloud email platform that was eventually acquired by Oracle. There he served on the board of the Direct Marketing Association for 15 years until in 2007, he and his partner Ken Lomasney founded the agency that is now DRUM.
When not leading the charge at DRUM, George enjoys playing the piano. Lately, he’s been learning how to play solo pieces by his favorite jazz artist, Bill Evans.
