A leader in this role will maintain, develop, and continually improve DRUM’s tagging, trafficking and ad operations to ensure that relevant data is available to answer necessary business questions. We are looking for a dedicated and focused team player who is capable of bringing immediate value to a growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team that manages ad operations for our clients’ digital campaigns. This includes the set-up of campaigns in ad-serving networks, Traffic ad assets to publishers and test functionality, create and implement URL tags and other tracking elements in coordination with measurement, and collect and gather all relevant publisher data not available from API or ad server.
  • Work cross-functionally with media, creative and analytics teams to identify and implement all creative and technical requirements associated with a campaign and proactively communicate timelines, QA, performance pacing and optimization implementations. Monitor campaigns throughout lifecycle, communicating with account managers, creative agencies and vendors on issues as needed.
  • Understand media plan objectives and suggest framework for campaign setup, which will directly translate into reporting and performance outputs.
  • Develop and maintain processes for tag requests, approval and management.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to tracking and data layer implementation requirements.
  • Hands-on implementation and management of tracking and measurement platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Ensighten, etc.)
  • Hands-on implementation of customer experience, testing and personalization tools such as Google Optimize, Optimizely, etc.
  • Serve as the authority for all technical issues involved in running online ad campaigns (including trafficking of remarketing capabilities, VAST/In-Stream Video, Rich Media and Audio).
  • Provide technical support to advertisers, account managers and others via phone, email and web.
  • Document best practices and seek out opportunities to improve existing processes.
  • Attend and participate actively in relevant team, agency and client meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Web Analytics Implementation or Media Ad Operations.
  • Team Lead Experience.
  • Experience with Excel.
  • Experience with Digital Analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and Tag Management Solutions (Ensighten, Tealium, GTM), A/B & MVT Solutions (Target, Optimizely, Sitespect).
  • Strong knowledge of analytical methodologies for optimizing and evaluating customer campaigns (i.e., segmentation, predictive response models, etc.) as well as a strong knowledge of online marketing and/or CRM best practices.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to analyze and communicate technical issues, lead discussions, and influence decisions
  • Ability to discuss technical solutions to both highly technical audiences as well as non-technical, business-focused individuals.
  • Creative problem-solving, critical thinking and follow-through.
  • Proven ability to evaluate information and make sound technical judgments.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and to prioritize workload under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Deep knowledge of ad serving platforms (DCM, Sizmek/Amazon).
  • Extensive experience with verification/viewability vendors (IAS, DoubleVerify, Moat).
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Flash, JavaScript, SQL, MRAID and HTML a plus.
  • Previous experience with DSP/SSP ad servers (ad exchanges, i.e. LiveRail, DBM etc) is a plus.
