DRUM is seeking a dynamic Creative Team to deliver big ideas and execute them flawlessly. We’re looking for a duo experience developing 360° creative campaigns and content that blend storytelling with data and commerce. You’re two agency pros who can think outside the box and come up with groundbreaking creative ideas that can work across channels. You are able to present your ideas to Senior Leadership and partner with cross-functional departments on strategy and execution. You have experience in both traditional and digital media. And you probably finish each other’s’ sentences.

The successful candidates will have an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns work, especially in the financial sector, to support our clients. We work in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal Creative Team should able to hit the ground running as soon as we bring on a new client or project. Additionally, you have experience on new business pitches, working under tight deadlines with high expectations for the level of work developed. This team can sit in our Atlanta, Chicago or New York office.

Responsibilities

  • Must be strong in conceptual ideation across various channels such as collateral marketing materials, new business presentations, info graphics and websites.
  • Must be able to take a project from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with other agency creatives, including designers and developers, in addition to outside vendors, photographers, artists and technology specialists.
  • Meet with Account Service and Project Management teams to determine creative requirements, timelines, etc. for new projects.
  • Assist in the business development process. May meet as part of a team with potential clients and prepare proposal materials or spec creative.
  • Demonstrate ability to switch gears and balance multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing attention to detail.
  • Exhibit initiative, enthusiasm and passion for creative collaboration.
  • Stays on the pulse of trends in marketing, culture and technology.
  • Report directly to Creative Director.

Qualifications

 

Art Director Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience in an agency environment
  • Portfolio that shows strategic and conceptual thinking applied across a range of deliverables in digital, print and video formats
  • Has a good understanding of UX design and is able to translate brand-building ideas into digital experiences and has expert knowledge of design specs and media requirements for web and social applications.
  • Creates wireframes, prototypes, layouts, storyboards and mood boards as needed.
  • Maintains a strong sense of design and typography aesthetics, with the ability to translate across various media.
  • Adheres to client graphic standards and brand guidelines (and knows how to elegantly break them when called for).
  • Maintains practical understanding of print design fundamentals.
  • Adobe Creative Suite, and design tools including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch etc.
  • Motion graphics / animation and video editing experience a plus

 

Copywriter Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience in an agency environment
  • Portfolio that shows strategic and conceptual thinking applied across a range of deliverables
  • Is a strong writer across long and short formats for digital, print and video.
  • Can skillfully apply a range of tones to match the voice of clients in industries from fintech to non-profit and beyond.
  • Subject matter knowledge of financial services, insurance and the non-profit verticals a plus.
  • Excellent editing and proofing skills.
